Regina M. Verlangieri

Licensed Professional Counselor, M.Ed., LPC, NCC, DCC

We all have the power to change.

Sometimes, we just need a helping hand and someone to support us. People can become more content with themselves and their lives as they are able to gain control. Exploring all aspects of an individual's life can foster growth through awareness and acceptance.

My initial goal is to develop trust and create an emotionally safe environment for you to share feelings and concerns. You will always be in control of what happens within the sessions. My services are unique in that they require participation as a full partner in the process.

I take an integrative approach drawing on psychoanalytic, developmental, systems, experiential, and transpersonal models. I primarily work with adults and adolescents. Techniques used may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, Writing (journaling), Role Playing, Gestalt Therapy, Relaxation Techniques, Assertiveness Training, Anger Management, and Mental Imagery.
